I got my retainers today. I thought I would be getting the Essix (invisible type), but I got the Hawley (metal type) instead. In case you do not know, I have superior gag reflexes. I almost gagged myself to death during the moulding and that, my friend, is not pleasant at all.
I have been trying to do the "mind over body" thing all day, and is successful so far. I gagged several times but managed to make myself keep the retainers in place.
... Maybe I should request to have an Essix done at the next appointment.
