Random.

Apart from really not wanting to start on any assignments, I think I have been sleeping a tad bit too much.

Sleeping honestly feels really good, but sleeping too much (i.e. 12 hours or more straight when you have been sleeping as you should for the past few days) actually makes you feel more tired.

Tried and proven (multiple times).

Anyway, I finally gave in to paranoia and bought an anti-virus software. This is the first time I ever bought an anti-virus software. I have been living off free ones like !avast and AVG all this while. I decided I should try investing in one for my desktop.

I bought bitDefender Internet Security 2009 for $29.90. The license is for 1 PC and lasts for a year. I actually feel bad now for not buying one for Vaio and my brother's desktop. I could have just bought the license for 3 PCs at $69.90.

Oh well.

The installation was real simple. It runs nicely in the background and does not use up a lot of computer resources. All is well so far.

I also bought an OSIM uMist.

In case anyone is wondering, that thing with an antenna is the range expander I mentioned in my previous entry, the black thing beside it is my TV and yes, I know I have and adorable rubbish bin.

I always suffer from a dry and eventually sore throat in AC-ed rooms after staying in one for some time, and since I cannot sleep (at least not well anyway) without AC I reckon I better buy a humidifier before I officially turn into a male voice-wise.

In case anyone is thinking how pampared/what a world-destroying bitch I am, the air-conditioner in my room is only turned on from 11 PM to 6 AM.

Okay, that is still quite a long time but at least we do not turn it on in the day and the fan is never on when the AC is on (or vice versa). My family is dead against these two deeds. It has been drilled so hard into my brain that to even think about doing either or both of this makes me feel guilty.

Sigh.

I love holidays, but I hate holidays littered with assignments. Damn.
